Fire Fighting System – CO₂

In Oil & Gas and Power Generation Market is strictly necessary to develop an integrated Fire Fighting System based on Client specifications, local rules, particular ambient conditions, Hazardous Areas and End User requirements. CO₂ is the most preferred extinguishing agent that has the greatest number of installations/applications worldwide for Electrical Generators, Transformers Vaults, Gas Turbine, Engine Pump Rooms, etc.

For this reason We decided to integrate, in addition to its core Business, Fire Fighting System too, presenting a new Product: CO₂ Self-Standing Cabinet.

1. Self-Standing Cabinet, Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel – Painted according to Client Specification (Optionally insulated);

2. CO₂ Cylinders, 67lt-45kg (T-PED / DOT);

3. Electric/Manual Actuator 24Vdc IP65;

4. Weighting Devices;

5. Weights;

6. Discharge Pressure Switch;

7. Interception Ball Valve c/w Limit Switch;

8. CO₂Manual Actuation Device;

9. Electrical Junction Box;

10. Safety Valve ambient vent;

CO₂ Fire Fighting System Self-Standing Cabinet is a completely engineered system based on CO₂ Cylinders fully inter-connected in order to protect the dedicated area.

Number of the Cylinders is variable, calculated based on the volume of the zone to protect and the required concentration for optimal extinguishing.

  • Discharge can be activated : – Electrically/Remotely by Solenoid Valve; –
  • Manually/Locally by adedicated Manual Actuation Device;

The amount and the positioning of the Nozzles (and their orefices) is designed and calculated case-by-case according to the protected zone risk and type of application (local or total flooding).
